Larry received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee in 1969, and his Master of Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1977.  In 1973 while Larry was working toward his Master’s Degree he served Lakeside as minister of Youth and Activities.  He then accepted the call to serve at Sunset Acres in Shreveport, Louisiana, as Minister of Education & Administration, and returned to Lakeside in 1985 as Minister of Education.

Larry is responsible for the Bible Study ministry, and leads our Senior Adult, Median Adult and Single Adult ministries.  He directs our Christian activities ministry which includes Upward sports. 
Larry and wife Suzie, have three sons and six grandchildren.
